RCA 21CT785 "The Westcott" mahogany console colour television receiver, 1956. Chassis CTC-5, 21" diameter picture (overall). With detachable stand.
Acquired as part of the Donald Fleming Collection of North American television receivers. Badged as an 'RCA Victor 'Special'', 'The Westcot' was one of the most economically-priced colour sets available at the time, part of the a line-up of several sets sharing the CTC-5 chassis, and accompanied by a new, more vigorous and expensive sales campaign by RCA to sell colour TV to the American public.
