Colour television receiver, Ultra Model 6749 'Bermuda'.

Ultra Electrics often used eye-catching names for their consumer product ranges, including Panther and Tiger. Their first televisions were made in 1937 and the Bermuda series was introduced in 1960. Early Bermuda models advertised different colour variations for the cabinets and marketing promoted the aesthetics as well as the quality of the products.

This 6749 model is a colour receiver and features a teak-effect woodgrain casing. It was made in 1978 under the Ultra brand, after the company had been acquired by Thorn.
