Leather bound album of stills featuring Lilli Palmer (1914-1986) in various pre-war and wartime films, containing 36 gelatin silver prints.

Lilli Palmer was born Lillie Marie Peiser in Poznan when it was part of German Prussia and, after stage work in Germany and France, moved to Britain, making her first screen appearance in 'Crime Unlimited' (1934). She went to Hollywood with her second husband, Rex Harrison, whom she married in 1943, and appeared in numerous films and hosted her own American TV show. Her last appearanvce was in 'The Holcroft Covenant' (1985). These publicity stills show her in various roles in films dating from the 1930s-1950s and form an interesting record of the work of a major international actress in that period.
