Large photograph showing a Choroti man, inhabiting the Gran Chaco, of Bolivia, engaged in drilling fire; man squats on ground, holding hearth in position on a piece of hide with left foot, and drills with a tip of soft wood inserted in end of an arrow-shaft; photo taken by Count Eric von Rosen, of Rockelstad Castle, Sparreholm, Sweden, during the Swedish Chaco-Cordillera Expedition of 1901-2, and presented by him in 1927.
