[One of] Two Fire-steels (each length 3 1/2 ins) combined with ember-tongs, cork-screw, and pipe-prick (the latter fitting into the spiral of the cork-screw and its head serving as pipe-stopper); probably both by same maker; sides of steel of one inlaid with filigree work in silver and stamped "B. M."; sides of steel of the other inlaid with a flowing floral design in relief in gold. [NB: one of thirty-three specimens (nos. 424-456), all Spanish, but combined with some other article or articles of frequent personal use (generally with ember-tongs, but often with knife-blade, cork-screw, pipe-prick, screw-driver, hammer, or other). Many possess considerable artistic merit]
