Fire-steel (2 1/4 x 1 1/4 ins) of kidney-shape (like no. 962); both sides ornamented handsomely (like the flap of a chuckmuck) with filigree and other pierced work in silver and set with many turquoises in patterns; suspension-ring (missing) at top; on front of steel, the sign for Wang; purchased on the Tibetan border of Nepal, but probably Chinese workmanship. China.
