[One of] Two Tinder-boxes (lengths 1 3/4 and 1 5/8 in) of silver; of closely-similar type; rectangular, with rounded corners; one has steel on back only, the other all round; both top and bottom of each engraved with an intricate floral pattern; one (bought in 1891 in Antwerp) contains a pistol-flint and amadou. ? Holland. [One of 34 examples (nos. 730-763) ... of various shapes and materials. All are of iron unless otherwise described. Some are plain, but most are more-or-less elegant, both in shape and decoration. All are probably European.]
