Instantaneous Light Box (height 2 ins) of tin; rectangular, with hinged lid; exterior painted bronze green; interior unpainted; very small example, with two compartments only, one for acid bottle (missing) and one for chlorate-matches, of which between thirty and forty remain, all of wax taper, very slender, and 1 1/4 in long; box closely resembles foregoing (no. 1262); also made, doubtless, by Green, but panel with name missing. England.
