A Lighter (length 2 1/4 ins) of brass; round and flat-sided, the two sides hinged together; long projecting nozzle on edge, with loose brass cap; a handle on nozzle, when turned, ignites an amorce (one of many in a long strip of prepared cotton tape coiled inside); sides engine-turned and both stamped "Benda's Patent". ?
