Southern Railway card thanking workers for working during the General Strike. One side is a note from H.A. Walker, the General Manager and E. Baring, the Chairman, and the other is a transcript of an extract from the Board minutes of 20 May 1926, recording the appreciation of the Chairman and Directors. Issued to T.E. Broom [actually an error for P.E. Broom], a fitter's apprentice at Salisbury. With a covering letter dated 15 June 1926.
