Letter, manuscript letter, paper, Capt. Mark Huish to R. Creed, 6 August 1842. Letter from Capt. Mark Huish of the Grand Junction Railway, Liverpool, to R. Creed informing him that due to the opening of the Manchester & Birmingham Railway, the GJR will no longer have a connection with Manchester, so Creed must not book any passengers on the GJR. Also informing him that the GJR will be raising its fares on 10 August.
