Photograph, print mounted on card, depicting an the Hetton Colliery locomotive (built 1851) with a driver's shelter, in the Hetton Colliery yard, about 1908 - 12, when it was retired to the joiners shop until the S&D Centenary in 1925. The locomotive may have originally been called 'Lyon' (It has since lost the extraordinary cab).
