4 samples based very loosely on haemoglobin pattern, dress fabric 'Flying Saucers', FPG 34, crystallographer Max Perutz, designed by Arnold Lever, manufactured by Arnold Lever, London. sample in various colours but for identification purposes each sample is recognisably brown, purple, green or yellow. Textile was shown in the FPG displays in the Regatta Restaurant and Land Travelling Exhibition. Part of a collection of 83 samples designed for the 1951 Festival of Britain, based on X-ray crystallographic patterns
