Fallowfield wet plate camera for Gem photographs. Sliding body camera of wet plate design for 5 x 4 inch plates. Modified with internal lens panel carrying twelve small lenses, producing twelve pictures 3/4 x 1 inches. Flap shutter on camera front, rack and pinion focusing on front of baseboard but working on camera back. Ground glass focusing screen. Fallowfield and Co. Manufactured before 1890.
