Low Capacitance Connection
- Made:
- 1930-1934 in United Kingdom
Low capacitance connection, unknown manufacturer, about 1932. Inscribed in cream paint 'L9 / R13 / (Mod)'. Handwritten label reads 'Low capacitence connection from the output cathode follower to the bias unit, low frequency components of the picture signal passed through this unit between the modualtor and transmitter. The stray capacitance of the bias unit was compensated by the inductive which forms part of the connection thereby the frequency response was mainted. JAL'.
