Clock, domestic type eight day longcase clock, painted arch dial depicting a train of passenger coaches hauled by a 'patentee' or similar type locomotive and inscribed 'the Liverpool line', made by 'Robson of Sheldon', c.1840. The mispelling of Shildon is believed to have been made while at the conservators.
