Eumig Super 610D Super 8mm cine projector, 1965-1970, modified for widescreen usage to take Kodak film stock. Cine projector fitted with Eumig Vario Euronet 1.6/17-30 lens and Photoax Solid State cassette recorder straped to back of home-made rig.

Projector was modified for widescreen usage to take Kodak film stock, by Mr Stuart Warriner, founder member of Morecambe Bay Movie Makers and an active amateur widescreen filmmaker. Camera and projector both modified to give a wide screen image by mounting the shutter at a 45 degree angle across the film meaning that the camera and projector had to be positioned at an angle to take and show the films. The concept was undeveloped as Kodak did not agree to remove their name from the edge of the film stock which unfortunately appeared on the screen in flashes.

EUMIG was an Austrian company producing audio and video equipment that existed from 1919 until 1982. The name is an acronym for Elektrizitäts und Metallwaren Industrie Gesellschaft, or, the "Electricity and Metalware Industry Company."
