Book, paper with leather covers, 'Tables of Locomotive Expenses &c compiled for use of Chief Officers only,' issued by the North Eastern Railway, printed by Chorley & Pickersgill Ltd., Leeds, November 1920. Contains printed tables of statistics of the NER's operations from 1881-1919, with spaces to add future details by hand up to 1933. Statistics include miles travelled, coal consumption, cost of locomotives and rolling stock etc. The front and back contain pencil notes made by Gertrude Robinson of 135 Victoria Road [Leeds?] in 1942. These include "No. 94 Firewatcher," notes of distances from Leeds, accounts of her war savingsand overtime etc.
