The Empress folding bellows field or stand camera for negatives 4 3/4 x 6 1/2. With double extension, tapered leather bellows, reversible and swing back, rising front, tilting front and focusng by rack and pinion. Front standard hinged. Fitted with an Ensign Symmetrical lens F.8 9.5" f.1 lens screwed into an Ensign roller blind shutter. Back ground-glass is masked for plates and negatives. Supplementary lens reduces focal length. Of French mahogany with brass fittings.Houghton c.1900
