One of three hospital dressing trolleys, square, with metal tubular frames and glass shelves, used in Breath of Life Exhibition, English, 1970-1974

This dressing trolley was used to hold instruments and dressings on wards or in surgical theatres. It is made of glass and steel so it is easy to clean and has two shelves. Having casters on the trolley makes it easy for the hospital staff to move instruments to where they are needed before returning them to the steriliser.
