Thornton-Pickard "Time" roller-blind shutter where a spring blind with a centre aperture is caused to pass before a lens. Speed can be varied by altering the tension of the spring by means of a winding knob, a given number of turn corresponds to a given speeds usually 1/15 to 1/100 of a sec. c 1905.
