Metal component of Solenoid recording arm, for Shaw horizontal pendulum seismograph, 1930-1935. Round metal elelemnt, with a larger base, with a brass screw in the side. There is then a rod to attach it to the head of the component, that has a needle coming off it and a small lid at the top.
