Amstrad notepad computer.
Amstrad NC100 Notepad, made by Amstrad in 1992.
An early example of portable computing and a good value alternative to the laptop (an entry level laptop cost £2,000 in 1992). The NC100 features a word processor, calculator, diary and address book to meet basic computing needs including word processing on the move. The NC100 includes a built in modem that made it possible to connect to the internet via a phone line.
