Microscope for photographic work, by Nachet. No objective. c. 1885.

The feature of this early photographic microscope is the provision of a body-tube and eyepiece through which the object can be kept under observation until a photograph is required, when by a speical shutter arrangement the light can be allowed to pass for a very short time into the camera body.
