Poster with an anti-smoking message, featuring an image of a young woman surrounded by a range of consumer goods and the message 'More money. More fun. If you don't smoke', prepared for the Ministry of Health by the Central Office of Information, London, England, 1966
A young woman is surrounded by 60s-style consumer goods on a poster emphasising the cost of smoking. The Ministry of Health hoped to discourage young people from smoking. Advertising tobacco products on television had become illegal in 1965. There was growing public awareness of the health dangers smoking posed.
