The introduction of digital television and video technologies made it possible for users to have far more choice over their television habits than ever before. This set top box from British satellite broadcaster Sky allowed users to ‘time-shift’ programmes by pausing them or saving them for later using a built in Personal Video Recorder (PVR). Several artists and designers were comissioned to produce eye-catching covers for the Sky+ box, including this one by Cath Kidston.
