Claudet's Focus-Equaliser lens. Designed by Dr. Sommer, stepson of Voigtlander, mechanism invented by Claudet. Petzval type portrait attachment lens, F:25cm. Cam and screw mechanism allows lens components to be separated during exposure. Rack and pinion focusing; to compensate for shallow depth of field of the Petzval lens.
