Fretwork fan carte de visite holder

Seven fret worked "leaves" pivoted at base with screw and wing nut. Each has an aperture for a carte de visite, with brass retaining toggles. Fits into wooden base via a tapered wooden pillar. Fret worked screen fits in front. Pattern of painted swallows and flowers and line decoration overall.
