Ensign Super Kinecam 'Sixteen'. Cine camera for 16mm film on 100 foot spools. Three lens turret, 24mm ID flange.This three-lens turret version of the Ensign Autokinekam is fitted with an f/2.6 1" Cinar Anastigmat lens. Claw and single sprocket drive. Clockwork wind, detachable handle. 8-frame shaft for handturning or back wind. 8, 12, 16, 24, 64 fps speeds. Large folding optical frame finder with parallax adjustment on rear sight. Direct vision optical finder, adjustable for 1, 2 or 3 inch lenses. Two viewfinders. Drum footage counter. Exposure calculator on side. Serial No Z 1460. Ensign Limited. It takes 16mm film on 100' spools.

The Ensign catalogue boasted that ‘The Super Kinecam 8 just does everything the Home-Cine enthusiast requires’. The camera was available with a Taylor Hobson Cinar lens for £45. This three-lens turret version of the Ensign Autokinekam is fitted with an f/2.6 1" Cinar Anastigmat lens. The camera runs at five speeds of 8, 12, 16, 24 and 64 frames per second and has an 8-frame shaft for hand-turning or backwind.
