A photograph of Joseph and Rose Kennedy and family posing for a news camera in London, taken in 1938 by Harold Tomlin for the Daily Herald.
From left to right are Kathleen, Joseph Sr (1888-1969), Rose (1890-1995), Patricia (1924-2006), Jean (b. 1928), Bobby (1925-1968), with Teddy (1932-2009) at the front. Joseph Kennedy was an American politician, and father of US President John F Kennedy (1917-1963).
Two Saidman brothers, Reuben and Barnet, worked as staff photographers for the Daily Herald. Their photographs are simply stamped 'Saidman' on the reverse, making it difficult to tell which of the brothers took the photograph.
