A photograph of six cars in the starting line-up for a race at Germany's Nürburgring, taken by Zoltan Glass in 1932.

The Nurburgring was built in 1927 to hold races previously held on public roads in the Eifel mountains. This was considered too dangerous, so work began on the new circuit near the village of Nurburg in 1925.
