Francis Curzon (1884-1964) only began his racing career aged 44. He went on to compete in many national and international races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He was resident of the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) from 1929 to 1964, and the BRDC still has a trophy named in his honour.
