A Vivex colour photograph of a woman in a one-shouldered dress, taken by an unknown photographer in 1937.
The Vivex process was introduced by Dr Douglas A Spencer (1901-1979) in about 1929. It produced high-quality standardised colour prints from colour-separation negatives.
