A Vivex colour photograph of purple, pink and cream flowers, taken by an unknown photographer in about 1935.

The Vivex process was introduced by Dr Douglas A Spencer (1901-1979) in about 1929. It produced high-quality standardised colour prints from colour-separation negatives.
