Binocular microscope, by Beck. One leg of folding tripod engraved "Smith and Beck, 6 Coleman St., London, 1075". Compound body has original first form of Wenham prism, given by Wenham to Crisp: 1 pair dummy eyepieces; 1/4" o.g. by "A. Ross", 1853 "334", without its lenses, but fitted with small Wenham prism (Wenham's original prism, given to Crisp in 1876)
