Royal headboard - Prince of Wales feathers with crown and 'Ich Dien' text through centre. London & South Western Railway. Painted wood; bracket at back for fixing.

The headboard of a royal train, hung at the front of the locomotive, often featured the heraldry of the royal family or family member using it.
