Actress's travelling case, ornate wooden box with drawers for make-up etc, inlaid with silver. In leather carrying case covered with railway luggage labels. This ornate travelling case may have belonged to the popular opera singer Adelina Patti (1843–1919). She travelled in her own private railway carriage and had a large house in Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) in Wales.
