Waterboxx
- maker:
- AquaPro BV
Groasis waterboxx, invented by Pieter Hoff, made in Helmond, the Netherlands, 2011, produces artificial condensation, collects rain water and distributes water to the plant.
The waterboxx is an inexpensive water saving device which can be used to support young trees, shrubs and some vegetables in inhospitable environments such as deserts and rocky landscape. The box collects water from rainfall and condensation. The box reduces groundwater evaporation around the plant, steadies the temperature around the roots and protects the young seedling from wind and sun damage. Projects with the waterboxx have been started around the world, in Kenya, Oman, Iraq, Holland, Spain, USA and Chile.
