Kombi camera, 1895. Manufactured by Alfred Kemper, Chicago. Miniature brass box camera and graphoscope. Roll film 1 1/4 inch wide, pictures 1/4 inch square. Simple lens, fixed aperture and focus. Time and Instantaneous shutter, in original carton. Lens, pressure plate and mask missing. Serial No 15107. (M1308)

Introduced 1892, the mini marvel of the decade. Seamless metal miniature box with oxidised silver finish. Took 25 exposures on 1 1/8" square (or round)on rollfilm, then doubled as a transparency viewer. Sold for £3 new.
