Over 3 million Intellivision consoles were sold and 125 games were released before it was discontinued in 1991. The Intellivision was a direct competitor to the Atari 2600. The console cost $299 when it was first released, this price included the game 'Las Vegas Poker and Blackjack'. The Intellivision's best selling game was 'Astrosmash'.
