Moy Electric Aerial 35mm cine camera, serial number 114, with lens, internal electric motor and gyroscopic stabiliser. Designed for hand-held operation.

This camera model was ground-breaking in a number of ways: it was the first cine camera cabable of being operated hand-held; the first to have internal displacement magazines with a pre-formed loop; the first electrically-driven camera since the Edison Kinetograph and the only one with an internal motor until the Panaflex and Arriflex 35BL cameras of the 1970s; the first mirror reflex camera and the first with stabilisation.
