Railway carriage, London & North Western Railway, 1st class corridor brake, No 5155, Royal Support Vehicle, built 1906 to diagram 127 no. 310, converted and transferred to royal duty in 1925, remained in service until 1977, restored by BREL Wolverton in 1979. Comprises the service compartment, two seating compartments, the control cab, and three WCs.

This royal staff car accommodated the royal household from secretaries to armed bodyguards when they travelled with the royal family. It has everything they might need to do their duties, rest and eat including a personal heater at each of the seats.
It has two compartments that can seat eight people during the day and transform into berths (beds) at night.
