Glass bottle, opaque blue, probably British

PART OF:
9 glass bottles, opaque blue, probably British
Made:
Great Britain

Glass bottle, light blue opaque colour, and curved shape with more bulbous lower portion than upper portion. Extensive cracking and damage to the entire bottle. Seams indicated that the broken pieces were put back together with adhesive though major holes indicate some shards are missing. The neck is cylindrical and the rim flares out into a rounded shape. The base is capped with tin that is loosely fitted. On one side there is a yellowed square marking, probably from a previously attached adhesive sticker. A small rectangular sticker is attached reading "S/178/6". Some staining across the rim of the opening and portions are chipped. There are no visible maker's marks though it is presumed British. Bottle is labelled 3295/1939 L.
