Medal. 1939-45 War Medal, cupro nickel, awarded to George Roberts for military service. Obverse: Effigy of King George VI; Reverse: depicts a triumphant lion trampling on a dragon representing the Axis powers. Original ribbon with narrow red stripe at centre with narrow white stripe on either side, broad red stripes at either edge, and two intervening stripes of blue.
