Plaque, cast iron, with three shields, on the left the first heraldic device of the London Brighton & South Coast Railway [quartered shield with the arms of London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Hastings], on the right the arms of Edward Alleyn and in the centre the year of construction 1866, ex Thurlow Park Road Bridge, dimensions 1485 x 610 x 90mm.
