Campbell Aperiodic Compass, type 6/18 with a three legged supporting frame, used to reduce aircraft virbrations, originally filled with alcohol, pat.no.10578/18, with a card consisting of eight fine wires. Patented in 1918 by Campbell & Bennett, made by Mappin and Webb Co., Sheffield, 1918-1920.
