Calotype salt print portrait entitled 'Miss Emma Melhuish', photographed, overpainted and retouched by Henry Collen between 1841 and 1844. One of thirteen prints from the photographic album 'Calotype Portraits'. Collen was the first person to license the Calotype process from William Henry Fox Talbot in 1842.
