Ferranti cathode ray tube. Type 9/24DM, Ser. No. T106. A 9-inch diameter Triode Tube which has a high quality flat face with ground internal and external surfaces. Primarily designed for use in Telerecording and in Television Transmissions Systems Converters. Telerecording was in use from 1949 to the early 1960s.
