The "Ormond" radio tuning dial. New (in original packaging) radio tuning dial - sold to home-constructors. Because anything associated with radio in the 1920s was horrendously expensive it was common practice to construct your own radio set from a components like this. Ormond Engineering Co Ltd were based in London and made complete radio sets as well as many varieties of components.
