ITC (International Tapetronics Corporation) Series 99 NAB (National Assocaition of Broadcasters) audio tape cartridge player with additional recording unit, 1979. This machine is ex-BBC Scotland.

NAB cartridges "Carts" were endless 1/4inch audio tape loops of up to 60 minutes duration - although between 30 secs. & 2 minutes was a more common length. The "cart", containing a jingle or trail (or advert in ILR) was placed in the machine. Pressing "play" gave instant start.
